GriefShare is a national program to bring you a friendly, caring community of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve may have found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

Each week your group will watch a video covering topics essential to your recovery from the hurt of grief and loss. The videos are feature interviews with grief recovery experts, mini-dramas, on-location video and real-life stories of people who have experienced the death of a loved one. After each video, you will spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in your lives.

Approximately half of adults will experience a mental illness in their lifetime. Yet, the topic of mental health is a taboo subject for many people. To break the stigma associated with mental illness, this workshop will provide a safe, open and honest environment for learning. You will receive a basic education about common mental illnesses and helpful information on resources and support. Whether you or your loved one is struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or another mental illness, this is the class for you.
