Do you need to renew your sense of joy? Join us for a weekly sing along to lift your spirits and worship God. For over 50 years, Northgate member Mick McCoy has collected scripture songs and wants to share some with you. During these changing, tumultuous times, we are encouraged to be “filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Eph. 5:18). You are welcome to come whether you have a great singing voice or can’t carry a tune in a bucket. Join this class and make a joyful noise unto the Lord. It’s easy to fall into a sense of despondency and depression when we encounter difficult problems in our own lives and those of others. These songs will evoke joy and gratitude in our hearts for the Lord’s blessings. The Joy of the Lord is our strength!

By the end of this 7-week class you will have:

• Read and sung approximately 80 scriptures.
• Memorized scripture through song.
• Experienced joy by singing scriptures that glorify God.
• Prepared yourself to use scripture to face life with joy in all circumstances.
