Approximately half of adults will experience a mental illness in their lifetime. The stress of COVID has exacerbated this illness. Yet, the topic of mental health is a taboo subject for many people. To break the stigma associated with mental illness, this 5-week workshop will provide a safe environment for learning and open and honest discussions. You will receive a basic education about common mental illnesses and helpful information on resources and support. Whether you or your loved one is struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or another mental illness, this is the class for you.
