Before You Divorce

Is your marriage in crisis? When marital problems develop, it’s not uncommon for couples to consider divorce. The stigma has lessened. The legal process has become simpler. The rationalization is strong. Emotions are out of control. This program makes every effort to remain true to biblical teaching on separation, divorce, and remarriage. This program will show you what life is like during and after divorce. This program provides a “reality check” to help you see that the pain and trauma of divorce are often much worse than the difficulties you now face in your marriage. The sooner you address your choice, the more likely it is that you reconcile and prevent divorce. Before You Divorce is a loving intervention that may keep your family together.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a national program to bring you a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

What You'll Discover

Each week your group will watch a video that covers topics essential to your recovery from the hurt of grief and loss. After each video, your group will spend time discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in your lives. At the end of the program, you will:

  • Recognize the grieving process and your journey of grief
  • Identify the complex feelings associated with the loss of a loved one
