At Northgate, we believe that worship isn’t just something we do on Sundays — it’s a lifestyle of loving God with our whole hearts, and we love watching kids discover that truth for themselves. One of the most powerful ways we see that happening is through our Northgate Kids Worship Team.
This ministry is more than just music — it’s about growing in relationship with Christ and with each other. Kids who join the worship team will develop their voices and confidence in a safe, Jesus-centered environment. It’s a space where they can learn to worship freely, surrounded by their peers, and be encouraged to use their gifts to lead others in praise.
The team practices every other week and learns a variety of music, including:
- Christian contemporary worship songs
- Classic hymns
- Seasonal and special celebration music
Through it all, kids are guided in basic vocal techniques, taught strong musicianship skills, and equipped to lead worship with heart and humility. Whether they’ve been singing for years or just love praising God with their voices, every child has a place on this team.
