A Fun Place to Learn About Jesus

Every Sunday, we can introduce our youngest church attendees to their God, who loves them, and Jesus, who wants to be their friend forever!

We invest in the next generation by teaching children they were created on purpose (Psalm 139:13-16) and for a purpose (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)! We LOVE kids and clear the way for them to meet Jesus, just as Jesus tells us, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14) We want our kids to discover and embrace a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

In a fun and interactive environment, Northgate Kids uses the Wonder Ink curriculum, which incorporates scripture reading, memory verses, and Bible stories. Kids learn to worship God in many ways, including singing and dancing with our Kids' Choir Team. They also have opportunities to serve on our Kids' Welcome Team and Kids' Cafe Team.

Kids Matter at Northgate

A typical Sunday in Kids Church looks like a welcome activity, worship through song and dance, games, our weekly Bible story, and small group time. Every service includes prayer and celebration!

If a child shows up every Sunday for a year, that is 50 hours spent with them, but on average, a child shows up 30-40 times. So, we know we are not their primary influencer. Our time with them matters, but our bigger goal is to partner with parents and guardians to carry out our weekly Sunday lessons.
