Purpose Never Retires
The Senior Adult Ministry is meant to include anyone who considers themselves a Senior Adult. Our purpose is to provide pastoral care for those in need of prayer and support during the challenges of this time of life and to encourage a sense of community among those who consider themselves seniors. We want to provide opportunities for fellowship and enrichment, as well as mental and spiritual growth.
The Senior Adult Ministry is also meant to be a place for people in their later years to feel like they are wanted and appreciated by showing them opportunities to serve in the church and share the life skills and knowledge that they have gained through their many years of professional and life experience. The Senior Adult Ministry is also committed to reaching out to and serving those people who are living in extended care facilities or are being cared for at home and cannot come to church. We want to bring a level of pastoral care and community to them so that they don’t feel abandoned by the church.
