As we enter into this series, we are inviting the kids to listen for the voice of God, to remove distractions and focus on hearing Him. God loves you, and His voice— while powerful—is also one of comfort.
There’s power in knowing that the Creator of the universe speaks to us, that the Creator of the universe sent His Son to die for us and impart His Spirit on us. How does knowing these things make you feel?
Through the stories of Eli, Samuel, Jeroboam, Rehoboam, and Elijah, we’ll learn that God speaks to us, provides wise counsel, and encourages us.
This is more than just four lessons; it’s an opportunity for you to hear from God and excite wonder in the lives of kids. In the words of our Word of Wonder, “Come near to God, and he will come near to you” (James 4:8a).
