A November Gratitude Challenge for Kids
November is the perfect time to pause, notice, and give thanks. This month, our Gratitude Challenge helps kids practice seeing the blessings in everyday life—from a sunny morning to a kind friend. More importantly, it teaches them to give thanks to God, who created everything around us and fills our lives with good gifts.
The Bible encourages us to “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). By practicing gratitude, kids learn to notice God’s goodness, share joy with others, and develop hearts that are thankful in every season.
Why it matters for kids: Practicing gratitude helps children focus on what truly matters, builds positive thinking, and strengthens relationships with family, friends, and God. It reminds them that joy grows when we recognize God’s blessings and share thankfulness with others.
This simple, fun challenge invites your child—and your whole family—to pause, reflect, and celebrate the many ways God shows His love each day.
