Northgate is eager to launch and host a Mom Co group! We recognize the deep need for community among mothers in our Church and beyond. We understand that motherhood can be both rewarding and challenging, and we believe that by coming together, we can support and uplift one another in meaningful ways. Hosting a Mom Co group aligns with our commitment to foster authentic relationships, provide spiritual encouragement, and create a safe space where moms can grow in their faith and find strength in being together.
The Legacy of Mom Co Mom Co's story begins with a simple yet profound vision that dates back to 1973. What started as a small gathering of seven women in Colorado—known then as MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)—has blossomed into a global movement. These women recognized a deep need for community and spiritual growth among mothers and began meeting regularly to support each other, grow as parents, and explore their faith. Their gatherings were rooted in the belief that mothers, when empowered and supported, can change the world.
A Mission Grounded in Faith Mom Co's mission is clear: to reach moms with the hope of Jesus, helping them to thrive as mothers, women, and leaders. By providing a space where moms can grow spiritually, emotionally, and practically, Mom Co partners with local churches to create an environment where every mom feels seen, heard, and valued.
Global Impact What began as a small meeting in Colorado has now expanded far beyond the founders’ wildest dreams. Today, Mom Co reaches over a million moms annually across 101+ countries, offering programs in 25 languages, and hosting more than 72,000 meetings each year. This global network of moms, churches, and volunteers is a testament to the power of community and the transformative impact of faith-based support.
